Introduction to a Chakra Practice with Lynn Schutte and Tracy Pufpaff

Introduction to a Chakra Practice with Lynn Schutte and Tracy Pufpaff

Wednesday, October 5, 2022 (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

The body holds seven vital energy centers called chakras.  Arranged vertically from the base of the spine to the top of the head, the chakras are part of an energy pathway. Energy moves thru these chakras, and when balanced, they allow the energy to flow freely promoting health and vitality. When the chakras are imbalanced, they may produce a wide array of disturbances and ailments. Imbalances are usually temporary.

Fortunately, chakras can be cleared and balanced with yoga and controlled deep breathing. You will be experiencing two of these methods in this workshop.

About Our Presenters

Lynn Schutt:

Lynn took her first yoga more than two decades ago. At the end of class, she knew she was falling in love with it! Yoga strengthened her body, eased her mind, and enlightened her spirit. She came to know herself in a totally different way and her relationship with herself became deeper, more loving, and more compassionate.

After17 years of classes and practice in different traditions of yoga, she walked into her first Kripalu yoga class which so resonated with her that she decided to become a certified teacher. She wanted to share with others the beauty and benefits that she came to know through the Kripalu yoga experience. Kripalu yoga speaks directly to the heart, then flows out to work with the body, accepting individuality and movement as guided from within. She has been teaching for over six years, specializing in a "gentle yoga class" that anyone and everyone, regardless of experience can enjoy and benefit from.
